The day began with a visit to the Torino FC Boarding School (Convitto) , a crucial facility for the growth and development of young Granata talents. Here, students had the opportunity to meet Francesco Strozzi, Organisational Manager of the Torino FC Youth Sector , and Edoardo Alunno, a former Accademia dello Sport student and current Tutor at the club's boarding school . During the meeting, participants explored how the boarding school operates and how daily life is organised for the young players who live there.
They were able to observe up close the facilities dedicated to rest, nutrition and training for the young footballers, understanding the importance of an environment that supports their development not only as athletes, but also as individuals and students.
From the Stadium to the Secrets of Youth Sector Management
In the afternoon, the Torino Experience continued at one of Italian football's most iconic venues: the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino . Here, students had the privilege of attending a meeting in the stadium press room , led by Lorenzo Maria Casciello, Secretary of the Youth Sector, and Leonardo Laudicina, a former Accademia dello Sport student and now a club employee serving as Secretary and Logistics Manager of Grassroots Football .
