Sassuolo Experience: a full immersion in neroverdi excellence

In the world of sports business, theory is indispensable. But what really makes the difference is the direct experience, the contact with reality, the observation of details that no textbook can convey. It is from this awareness that the value of our "field experiences" is born : exclusive days lived inside professional realities, designed to bring our trainees closer to the world in which they want to work.
One of them featured one of the most virtuous clubs on the Italian soccer scene: Sassuolo Calcio.

The trainees of the Soccer Manager Course had privileged access to two symbolic places of the neroverde philosophy: the Mapei Stadium, a modern and functional sports facility owned by the company, and the Mapei Football Center, among the most innovative and sustainable sports centers in Italy.

This was not a simple visit: it was a true full immersion in a club that has built its identity on expertise, programming and entrepreneurial vision. Guided by our staff and professionally welcomed by the club, participants were able to explore every corner of the spaces dedicated to the first team, communication, logistics, and hospitality.

Meeting those who make soccer: an authentic dialogue with club professionals

Enriching the value of the experience were three exclusive meetings with key figures from Sassuolo:

  • Alec Invernizzi, operations manager, explained how every organizational detail is handled within a Serie A club: from relations with the League to internal dynamics between departments.

  • Jacopo Gismondi, communications manager, showed how the club curates every aspect of its image, managing media, social and storytelling in a continuous balance between performance and reputation.

  • Alessandro Terzi, head of the women's sector, recounted the ambitious path of growth of the pink movement within Sassuolo, including scouting, planning and development of female athletes.

Three authentic, insightful testimonies showed the behind-the-scenes of a professional club, offering a glimpse into what it really means to "do soccer" today.

Experience as a training lever: the added value of our pathway

This day was not an isolated incident. Experiences like the one at Sassuolo are an integral part of our educational philosophy: we believe that only through confrontation with reality and with those who really work in the field can we acquire the practical skills and mindset that make the difference in the world of work.

It is not just about knowledge, but about connections, emotions, vision.
Each visit is also an opportunity for networking, a time for inspiration, and a chance to understand oneself through observing positive role models.

Looking ahead, with concreteness

Sassuolo is back in Serie A. It is an achievement that rewards the work of a solid, modern company capable of doing things differently. Taking our trainees there, to observe up close how success is born and sustained, means empowering them to envision their future with concrete tools.

Because becoming a manager in the world of soccer means not only studying, but living soccer. And doing it inside realities of excellence like the Black and Green one makes our path even richer, credible and work-oriented.
