The Academic Master's Degree Basketball Management, 5th edition is a comprehensive and highly qualified training course in the world of basketball, aimed at a limited number of participants and designed to train future professionals in the industry.
The course is conducted online in live streaming and on-demand mode to ensure maximum flexibility for all trainees. The program also includes on-field experiences at professional clubs and major sporting events such as the Italian Cup Final Eight, offering direct immersion in the world of basketball.
The minimum requirements for admission to the course are a secondary school diploma and the age of majority.
At the end of the course, eligible trainees will earn a certificate of participation and will have access to a final internship, concretely entering the industry also thanks to the network built during the course.
STUDY PLAN.
The Master's Degree in Basketball Management consists of a total of 90 hours of training, structured in thematic modules that cover all functional areas of a basketball club, from the technical sector to communication, from marketing to secretarial, each module includes two distinct and complementary training moments:
GENERAL PART.
Introduction of the basic issues for each of the areas that make up sports organizations in the basketball world. A theoretical and systemic framework for understanding the context, structures, organizational models, and institutional dynamics of the basketball industry, both nationally and internationally.
SPECIALIST PART
Specific analysis of the skills and practical tasks of all the professional roles that animate the operational departments of basketball clubs.
Each in-depth study is accompanied by the exposition of direct case studies, drawn from real experiences, to drop the contents into the concrete dimension of daily work within a sports club.

Overview of major national and international organizations and regulations governing modern basketball.
Governance
Comparative analysis of professional and amateur clubs: operational structures, management structures, and sustainability.
Roles in Clubs
Mapping functional areas and professional figures in clubs: responsibilities, internal relationships and collaborative dynamics.
Organizational Area
Focus on senior figures: president, CEO, general manager, and the different forms of ownership and administration.
Technical Area
The sports machine: head coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, match analysts, scouting experts, and athletes in an integrated high-performance ecosystem.
Medical Area
Structure and functions of the medical sector between prevention, recovery, and performance: from medical manager to physical therapists.
Youth Sector
Educational and management models for young athletes: regulatory requirements, training objectives, and long-term development.
Secretariat
Day-to-day operational management: memberships, visas, federal paperwork and deadline tracking.

In addition to the online classes, the course includes exclusive Experiences that are an additional and essential training moment designed to encourage direct learning and confrontation with the real world of professional basketball.
In the past edition, participants took part in the Final Eight of the Italian Cup, experiencing firsthand the organization of a major national sporting event, and visited the headquarters of Macron, technical sponsor of the Italian National Basketball Team, to learn more about the relationship between sports, branding and technical supplies.
These experiences allow trainees to connect with professionals in the field and concretely expand their network.

The Higher Education Basketball Management Course is aimed at high school and college graduates who are passionate about the world of sports and aspire to pursue a managerial career in the world of basketball, and is reserved for a maximum of 20 students over the age of 18 who possess the minimum requirement Secondary School Diploma.
Admission to the educational pathway is subject to a pre-assessment of the Curriculum Vitae coupled with a motivational and self-presentation letter of the candidates, followed by a telephone interview, within 48 hours of sending the application, before the outcome of eligibility for enrollment in the Course.
